Winemaking:

Hand harvested from the oldest vineyards of the estate. Hand sorted on conveyor belts. Fermented in small oak vats and steel tanks. Matured for 26 months in 80% new and 20% used french oak barrels. Unfiltered, unfined.

Tasting Notes:

The top wine of the estate is the essence of the best vineyards and the skills of the Quinta. Opulent and rich, big tannic structure, creamy mouthfeel. It is deep and multi-layered in its flavour profile. Slowly evolving in the glass with ethereal dark fruit scents, floral notes, cedar wood, spices, black tea, smoke and crushed stones. A rare wine for special moments.

Service and Pairing:

Serve with 14 – 17°C, decant when young, drink it alone, but goes well with all meat dishes, mature cheese. Drink from 2023 on to 2040. Store below 15°C.
