Origin:

Borba, Vinho Regional, Alentejo, Portugal

Blend:

49% Alicante Bouschet, 27% Touriga Nacional, 24% Petit Verdot

15.5%

Winemaking:

Hand harvested from the oldest vineyards of the estate. Hand sorted on conveyor belts. Fermented in small oak vats and steel tanks. Matured for 26 months in 80% new and 20% used french oak barrels. Unfiltered, unfined.

Tasting Notes:

The top wine of the estate is the essence of the best terroirs and the skills of the Quinta. Deep and multi-layered in bouquet, scents of cedarwood, black tea, black elderberry, violets, charcoal, orange peel.

Rich and creamy in structure but balanced with a fresh and lively acidity, loads of mouth filling, silky tannins, a beautiful core of dense, chewy black fruit extract, a never-ending trace of fruit. A rare wine for special moments.

Service and Pairing:

Serve with 14 – 17°C, decant when young, drink it alone, but goes well with all meat dishes, mature cheese. Drink from 2026 on to 2045. Store below 15°C.
